President
Lou is the President of TPG Consulting, LLC. He began his insurance career in the actuarial department at a large southeastern insurance company immediately after graduating from college. With this company, he gained experience serving as both a home office pension actuary and a Regional Sales Manager. Before launching TPG Consulting, Lou was an owner/officer of Plybon & Associates, Inc. for over three decades.
Lou works with closely held businesses assisting individuals and business executives with their insurance and employee benefit needs. He has developed a specialty in designing and administering unique life, disability, and qualified retirement plans.
Lou graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and the FINRA Series 6, 22, 63, and 65 securities registrations.
