Jeffrey L. Camps, CLU, ChFC
Jeff has been in the financial services industry for 37 years. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science.
In 1979, he was recruited to join the John Hancock Marketing Management Program in Boston Massachusetts, and in 1982, Jeff was promoted to sales manager for John Hancock in New York City. In 1988, Jeff was appointed the General Agent for John Hancock in New York City. Jeff is the third generation of his family to be appointed General Agent for John Hancock.
The agency’s primary business was financial planning, estate planning, life Insurance, and money management for high net worth individuals, business owners. On July 2012, Jeff formed Camps Wealth Management. The new firm would specialize in estate and corporate life insurance, and wealth management.
May 9, 2016, Jeff joined TPG Consulting, LLC of Greensboro, North Carolina, and currently works out of Ketchum, Idaho.
Currently, Jeff holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation, and is an investment advisor representative. Jeff is a member of the Estate Planning Council of New York, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He was the past President of the CLU, ChFC Chapter of New York, past president of the General Agents and Managers Association of NY, and past president of the John Hancock General Agents Association. Jeff has also served on the board of the New York Center for Financial Studies. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family.
